OUR STORY

Growing up in the Treasure Valley, cupcakes held a special place in the life of our family.  They were the go-to treat for every birthday party or event. When we found out I had a gluten sensitivity, we struggled to find gluten-free cupcakes that maintained the same high quality we were used to. Many gluten-free desserts can be dry or limited in flavor options, so it was difficult to find a suitable substitute. This led me to spend years developing a gluten-free cupcake recipe that could compete with any standard, gluten cupcake.

 

Having attended many parties and events where the only gluten-free options were fruit or other well-intentioned but sad attempts at a dessert, I set out to provide a dessert that would be indistinguishable from a cupcake with gluten and that would need no alternative. No one wants to feel excluded or set-apart because of their dietary requirements, so Jacqueline Anne’s caters to gluten, dairy, and nut sensitivities and is always willing to try to expand the list.
